And we aimed to improve.
As a student of one of the Five Colleges, VanGO’s founder always had a tough time making her way home to the Boston-area. It was either too expensive, it took too long, or it was too much of a hassle. She wasn’t alone. Like her, other students shared in her frustration and talked about the need for another way to the city.
Five years later, she made it her business to create just that – a quicker, more affordable, and more convenient way to travel between the Pioneer Valley and the Boston-area.
Originally named “MassMover”, VanGO began in March of 2013 operating from Mount Holyoke College to Alewife Station. It soon expanded to offering rides to Smith, UMass Amherst, and Logan Airport, along with a variety of services.
VanGO is a weekend express shuttle operating between the Pioneer Valley and the Boston-area. We are entirely family-owned and operated.
